Steve has over 35 years driving experience driving a  myriad of different vehicles. This experience included passing the Police Advanced Driving Course. This course helped develop Steve’s skills in Driver observation, vehicle handling and making safe progress.

This was an ideal grounding for becoming a driving instructor and when Steve retired from his former profession, becoming a driver instructor was an obvious career move for him.

 

Steve teaches with humour, patience and instills a great deal of confidence into his learners’ belief in themselves when they are nervous and unsure during lessons. 

​

Steve is married to Karen and lives in the Herne Bay area and has two grown up children. 

​

Steve feels he has a lot of understanding and patience. He shares the ethos that learning to drive is a life skill and not just about passing a test.
