Jo is married with 2 grown children who are now driving themselves. Family life plays a very important role in all Jo does. Jo has 30 years driving experience and originally passed in Norfolk which gave her lots of driving experience on difficult country roads where she had to negotiate all sorts of rural traffic.

Jo moved to Kent 25 years ago and as she loved driving and wanted to pass that love on to others she thought about becoming an approved driving instructor (ADI). Teaching others how to drive safely and with confidence was something that Jo thought about for a few years and as her children grew up and became more independent she wanted to put new energies into a new learning experience so took up her driving instructor training with Keith Wells.

Jo wanted to be an ADI for a few years and as her children grew older she had the time to put her energy into learning and as they didn’t need her as much so gave her lots of time for all her potential pupils. 

 

Jo wants people to have a fun,safe learning experience and it gives Jo a great feeling knowing they will be safe, confident drivers once they've passed their tests with her.

Jo is very patient and has done many refresher courses for people with no confidence in cars and given them the confidence to feel safe to go out and drive on their own again. Jo is keen to support others who may need a little extra time with their lessons before they feel confident and ready to take their test.

​

Jo is very proud to be part of the Wells Driver Training family, and has been with Wells for over 5 years. She is looking forward to a long future with a company that is truly based around family values, support and the student centred ethos that is apparent in all areas of the driving school.
